In the age of modern technology, it’s hard to believe there’s something like gas generators.  You are going to want to find the cheapest gas to get the generators working because you are going to pour a lot of money into the expenditure if you decide to go with the more expensive types of gas.  The difference between the various types of gas is slim to nonexistent, so you shouldn’t look negatively on these types of gas because they cost less.  You are going to get the same benefits from the cheapest type of gas as you would from the more expensive type of gas.  You should try all of them out to see which one is going to work the best for you.  Once you figure that out, you should go with it for as long as you own your generator.  Flip-flopping on gas types you use in your generator will only lead to you damaging it considerably.
Gas generators are going to be worth it in the long run.  It’s a bit of a drag that you have to pay consistently to keep it running, but that shouldn’t be too big of a deal.  You should want to get whatever type of generator that is going to work for your needs and budget.  Gas generators are going to do a good job.  You just have to be willing to throw down the money needed to keep them going for years to come.  Maintenance on gas generators is going to be another journey.  You shouldn’t give up on it though.  Once you’re at it for a little while, there won’t be much left to figure out.
