You might have to pay a little more for standby generators.  This shouldn’t be a problem if you want to have something to backup your power.  You can never be too sure when you’re dealing with the unpredictable world of power outages.  They might last for a little while or for several days.  You should have something on hand to make sure you will be able to address this kind of a situation.  If you don’t, you are going to regret it when your power goes out when you need it the most.  Standby generators are the best thing to help you out in this sort of situation.  You might find some other methods of backing up your power, but none are going to be as effective as standby generators.
